Bible Verse:

Romans 8:28-30  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.  For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.  And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Soccer vs North Mac @ North Mac 5:00

Sports Update:

In soccer action, the Crusaders had a chance to advance to the championship game but lost to Carlinville 7-2.  Carter scored both goals.

The girls golf team traced to Timberlakes golf course.  Nyah got 6th overall.  Both girls shot better than they did in the last meet with Raegan shooting better than her goal for the meet.

Way to go ladies!

The Lutheran High Boys Golf Team had a meet on Tuesday night at The Rail Golf Course in Sherman.  The Crusaders came in third behind Williamsville and Auburn.  Connor was our low scorer for the meet.  Matches continue on Friday vs North Mac in Girard.

The Jacksonville kickoff also seems to have been a great opportunity for Lydia, finishing 6th and earning her first high school medal!  That’s a huge accomplishment and must feel so rewarding.  Jeremy’s performance as the top runner for the boys team is commendable, too, even if he didn’t quite break into the top 10 this time.  Good luck to the team for the race this Saturday in Williamsville!  Keep up the great work LuHi!

Volleyball took a tough loss to conference opponent Pawnee.  After a slow start, the girls played point for point in game 2.  Although fell just short 27-29 in one tough, gritty battle.
