Bible Verse:

Matthew 5:14-16  You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Sports Update:

The Lutheran High Golf Teams had a meet on Tuesday night at Timber Lakes Golf course in Staunton.  The other schools participating were Raymond Lincolnwood, South County, Ramsey and Mt Olive.  On a hot afternoon the boys finished in 5th place, with Max as our low scorer followed by Aaden.  The ladies, while not having enough players for a team score, competed against the same schools while representing LuHi.  Nyah was our low scorer.  The Crusaders are back on the course this afternoon against North Mac in Girard.

The Crusaders soccer team lost at Riverton by a score of 5-4.  If you were there, you now know what it sounds like when doves cry.  Carter had 3 goals and Payton S scored the other.

The Crusader volleyball team traveled to Auburn and gave the Trojans a run for their money.  The girls were point for point in game 1 until the Trojans broke away winning 25-21.  Game 2 Auburn took 25-16.  The team was led in kills by Avery with 4.
