  • First Naz is having “Warm Giving” the month of November.  They are accepting donations of new/ used sleeping bags, shoes, queen blankets and new socks.  
  • NHS is having their Annual Canned Food Drive for 3 more days.  The class with the most cans gets a Free Dress Down Week!
  • Please join us today at 3:05 for Caleb Cox and Carter Matteson as they sign their National Letter of Intent!  We will be having the ceremony in the lobby outside the chapel!  Please stop and give your congratulations. 
  • Scholastic Bowl will practice Thursday after school until 5:00 in Room 207.
  • Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser through tomorrow.  To ensure LuHi receives credit, you must drop your receipt into the black box, located next to front doors. 
  • Sign up in the office to play a half time game during the Blue & White scrimmage on Friday!
  • Seniors – UIS is waiving application fee until December 1.
  • Seniors interested in the fields of finance, aviation, fine arts or optics should check out this month’s scholarship newsletter.  There are also a few scholarships listed that are open to students who are not seniors including one for children of veterans.
  • Local scholarships now accepting applications are : The Orthopedic center of Illinois Foundation and The Illinois Electric Cooperatives.  See Mrs. Daniel for more info.

Jacen in German I and Art for excellent class participation, behavior, and/or leadership.  He has excellent art skill, works to improve each day.

Caleb C in Dual Credit Novels for excellent class participation, behavior, and/or leadership.

David in Health and Algebra 2 for a great job on the 1st unit test,  awesome Nutrition Slides and scored very high on his Martrix test!

Dane in Business Math for being a  joy to have in class.  He asks questions and always does his best in all he does.

Noelle im Theology 11 Comparative Religions for consistent positive effort in class or on homework.
