Sports Update: 

The lady Crusaders got their 1st win of the season over conference team Mt Olive.  The girls came together after losing set 1, and took set 2 25-19.  They came out leading in set 3 but Mt Olive fought back to tie it up and take the lead but the Crusaders didn’t back down.  They battled and won 27-25 for an exciting 1st game of the season.  The team was led in kills by Avery and Kaylynn with 4 apiece and Alayna and Skylar with 3.  Skylar led the team with 16 assists and Izzy battled in the backrow collecting 12 digs!  The girls are back in action hosting their home tournament at Glenwood.

The Lutheran High Boys Golf Team began its season with a meet on Tuesday hosted by South County at Terry Park in Palmyra.  The Crusaders finished in 4th place in the 6 team meet which was won by South County.  Max had the team’s low score with a 40 followed next by Connor.  On the Girls side, while not having enough players for a team score, our two ladies competed against 6 schools while representing LuHi.  Nyah was our low scorer.  Matches continue next week at Williamsville for the boys and Mt. Olive for the girls.
