Bible Verse:

 Nahum 1:7-9  The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.  But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.  What do you plot against the Lord?  He will make a complete end; trouble will not rise up a second time.

Announcements:

• First Naz is having “Warm Giving” the month of November.  They are accepting donations of new/ used sleeping bags, shoes, queen blankets and new socks.  

• Open gym for Boys Basketball is tonight and Thursday from 3:30-5:30

• Seniors – UIS is waiving application fees until December 1st.

• Seniors interested in a career in Physical or Occupation therapy, please see the poster in the hall regarding the Illinois Elks Scholarship Program.

• LLCC runs a program called Reg Prep in the spring each year to get high school seniors signed up for classes if they are planning to attend LLCC the next school year.

• NHS is having their Annual Canned Food Drive, November 3-14.  Students take donations to Mrs. Foxworth’s room.  Items accepted:  Pasta Sauce/ Pasta, Jelly/ Peanut Butter, Soup, Fruit, Ramen Noodles, Canned Meat, Cereal, Canned Vegetables, Crackers, Rice, Sugar, Snacks, Soap, Detergent and Toilet Paper
