Bible Verse:

 Provers 18:10-12  The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.  A rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination.  Before destruction a man’s heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.

Announcements:

• Honor card applications are being accepted until 3:10.

• Talent Show auditions will be next week, February 9-12.  All types of acts will be considered, and do not have to be complete at the time of audition, as long as you have a plan for a polished act by the show on April 9.  Talk with Mrs. Deem or watch for the QR code to pop up in halls to arrange an audition slot.

• Auditions for the spring play “8 Minutes Left” on February 17-19 at 3:30.  There are posters in the halls and you can borrow scripts from Mr. Bulava.

• The Youth Job Fair will be held March 3 at the Crowne Plaza from 12:00-2:00.  There are businesses offering summer and part time employment  opportunities for high school students.

• Service hours available!  Springfield Federation of Music Clubs Festival on February 15 and 22, 12:45-4:30.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, scorekeeping and assisting families.  Contact Kristin Maletich  217.725.2771 or [email protected]
