My favorite bible verse is "Now faith is the assurance of things hope for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).

What I most like about working at LuHi is after having worked at several rather large German schools, I enjoy the teaching and learning atmosphere at this fairly small school. I grew up a Lutheran, as the majority of people in Germany's north are, and thus cherish the opportunity to be a part of the Lutheran community here!

After leaving Germany behind in the summer of 2015, I have been living here in Springfield with my husband, a retired environmental engineer, and my eight-year-old daughter. After the loss of my world-travelling cat Mimi, who moved with me throughout Germany and finally to the US, last fall, we are currently looking into welcoming a puppy into our family. My younger brother visits often from Germany.
