Dear Lutheran High School Summer Camp for Kids Community,
It is with a heavy heart to let you know that we are going to indefinitely close the Lutheran High School Summer Camp for Kids in the summer of 2025. Since our building was closed in 2022, it has become increasingly difficult for us to continue to secure a location for our annual camp. Especially one that is convenient for the families we have served over the years.
This year has proven no different. We are thankful for all of the children and families we have served and gotten to know in the Springfield community over the last five decades. This is a decision that has taken some time to get to, but it is a decision that has to be made.
While we will be gone, there are other camps in the community that may be able to serve your needs this coming summer. Our two sister schools offer summer camps for younger children as well as Camp CILCA which has both overnight and day camp options.

There are other local options available as well, such as the YMCA of Springfield, Calvary Academy, and the Springfield Park District.
