• Attention all techies!  Mrs. Koopman has been clearing out cabinets and storage spaces.  She has multiple accessories for sale.  See the list posted outside her classroom for the items available and the prices.  Please see her before or after school to make your purchase.  All items will be recycled if not purchased by Friday, September 12

• Any seniors interested in attending the education fair at the Orr Building on the State Fairgrounds from 12:30-2:30 on Wednesday, October 8, please let Mrs. Daniel know by Friday, September 12.  Students must be in good standing with academics and attendance.

• Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in participating in Senator McClure’s Youth Advisory Council this year, please let Mrs. Daniel know by Friday, September 12.

• Any students interested in serving on Mayor Misty Buscher’s Youth Council, please let Mrs. Daniel know by Friday, September 12.  For additional information about what is involved, you may speak to our current student representative Jeramy.

• Seniors interested in majoring in music in college, See Mrs. Daniel for more information about scholarships being offered by SouthEast Missouri State University.

• Seniors – UIS is waiving application fees until December 1, 2025.  They are also hosting open houses in October and November.  See the flyer in the hall for more information.

• Cross Country and Golf Teams are having a Fundraiser selling individual Bundtlet cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes for $7.00. There is a QR code to order online.

Sports Update: 

The Lutheran High Boys Golf Team competed in a match on Friday afternoon at Oak Hills Country Club in Girard.  The Crusaders finished in third place behind North Mac and Pleasant Plains.  Max was the team’s low scorer with a 39.  The team is back on the course Tuesday at Lincoln Greens.  Our two lady golfers, Nyah and Raegan, competed in the Girls meet against golfers from North Mac and Pleasant Plains.  Nyah was our team’s low scorer.

In Friday night, futbol actions, the Crusaders were like Willie Nelson and playing on the road again, this night in Piasa.  The Crusaders came away with a hard fought 5-1 win.  Carter scored 4 goals, and Peyton S had 1.  Lucas has 3 assist, and Silas had 1.  The defense played a bend, but don’t break style.  LuHi is back in action at home today at 4:30 vs Litchfield.

Cross Country ran in Williamsville on Saturday.  Jeramy got 5th place and Lydia got 3rd.
