Bible Verse:

Colossians 3:12-14  Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a compliant against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Sports Update:

On Friday, the crusaders soccer team hosted Faith Bible and were able to win 10-1.  Carter had a star spangled game with 4 goals and 2 assist.  Jovi had 2 goals and 1 assist, Ryan had 2 goals and Peyton and Andy had 1 goal each.  Lucas had 3 assist while Parker, James, Mason and Andy all had 1 assist each.

In Crusaders soccer news Carter is now the all time career goal scoring leader.  Friday after the game he was recognized and now has 135 and counting career goals.  What an honor for such a great, humble and hardworking young man!

Congrats to Lydia for placing 19th out of 100 girls at the Lincoln Park Springfield invite!

Volleyball played in the county tournament.  They lost to Tri City and Athens but showed so much grit vs Auburn – almost taking  game 2 from them.  The girls travel to Mt Pulaski on Tuesday night.

The Boy’s Golf Team competed in the Sangamon County Tournament on Saturday at Lincoln Greens Golf Course.  On a sunny day on the links, the crusaders finished in ninth place.  Connor was our team’s low scorer.  Both the boys and girls are off to Taylorville this afternoon for the last meet before regionals.
