Bible Verse:

1 John 2:15-17  Do not love the world or the things in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life – is not from the Father but is from the world.  And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Announcements:

• First Naz is having “Warm Giving” the month of November.  They are accepting donations of new/ used sleeping bags, shoes, queen blankets and new socks.  

• St Aloysius is looking for 1-2 volunteers for babysitting during their November PTO meeting.  It is held at St. Aloysius School on November 6th from 5:45-7:15 pm.  Anyone interested, email Ms. Foster at [email protected]

• Open gym for Boys Basketball is Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30

Sports Update: 

The Crusader Cross Country team ran in chilly and breezy conditions this past Saturday.  Jeramy showed tremendous growth from last season improving his race time by 50 seconds and moving up 34 places from last year to finish.  Lydia qualified for State competitions as the seventh individual runner with a time that was 3 ½ seconds off of her PR.  Lydia will run this Saturday in the state finals in Peoria.
