Bible Verse:

Romans 5:1-5  Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Sports Update: 

The volleyball atmosphere was on fire last night with the amazing student section, tailgate, senior night and alumni in the stands!  The girls played some great volleyball against Edinburg but it wasn’t quite enough to take the win.  The team was led in kills by Avery and Kaylynn.  The growth in the team is happening at the right time!

Athletics of the Week:

Carter for his incredible season in scoring goals in a season at 64.  He is the city and school record holder for a season.

Avery in volleyball.  She has shown incredible leadership and growth this season.  She is a great teammate, positive and encouraging but she turns into a beat at the net and has been killing the ball!
