Announcements:

  • Seniors :  Please give Ms Goetsch the email address or physical address for your transcripts to be sent in June.
  • Seniors – Please turn in permission forms to Ms. Goetsch if you are going to Brenden Gardens for lunch on Monday.
  • At lunch this week, Mr. Bulava is selling the remaining concessions for the spring play.  Everything is a dollar and includes chips, candy, popcorn, and homemade goods.
  • LLCC will be Wednesday, May 13 at 8:15 am for dual credit applications.  Please have a social security number with the student. 
  • Anyone who is interested in Cross Country next year, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 12 at Our Saviors at 6pm.  We will discuss plans for the summer training program and the coming season.
  • Golf students- there will be a meeting before school Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 in Mrs. McCulley’s room.
  • Cheer students – there will be a meeting before school Wednesday at 8:30 in Mr. Bulava’s room.
  • During break, students go to clubs.
  • Please welcome Hollie who is shadowing Noelle.
  • Please welcome Jenna who is shadowing Skylar.
  • Please dismiss baseball at 3:00.
  • Slushy machine raffle for baseball – buy tickets online or there is a QR code on posters in the hallway.  Drawing will be held at noon on June 1st.  1=$15, 3=$40,10=$100.

Sports Update: 

Softball lost 11-10 to Taylorville in a close game – fighting back after being down 7-0!

Baseball beat Edinburg in a DH winning 15-0 and 11-0.

Soccer played Auburn on a senior night and lost.

Athletics of the Week:

All 5 seniors in soccer for their leadership, hard work, and never give up attitude.  Thank you for your time in the soccer program.

Max in baseball.  He went 9-17 BA .529 5 singles, 4 doubles, 8 RBI’s with 3 stolen bases.

Silas in track for his one shoe effort on the 4×400!  Never broke stride, just did what needed to be done!
