Sports Update: 

The Crusaders soccer team opened up the home portion of the season with a 2-1 victory vs Athens.  LuHi went up 1-0 on a goal by Carter off an assist from Silas.  Athens tied it at 1.  LuHi scored the game winner by Carter off an assist from Lucas.  Way to go team!

Athletes of Week:

Carter for soccer.  He scored 6 goals in 2 games that helped LuHi go 2-0.

Max in golf.  He had the team’s low score in this week’s meet at South County where the Crusaders placed 4th out of 6 teams.  Max also finished in 6th place individually.

Avery in volleyball.  She led the team in kills and aces in the win vs Mt Olive.
