Fine Arts at Lutheran High School
Lutheran High School has a long and proud history of the Fine Arts. The Drama department performs popular musicals and plays such as; Fiddler on the Roof, Beauty and the Beast, and Once Upon a Mattress, The Odd Couple, Leaving Iowa, Down in Front, and the Day the Internet Died.
The average number of students in each production is 30 students! Students get to experience being on stage, working backstage, or working the sound and lights for each show giving them experience in a variety of fields. Students can also be involved in the construction and design of sets.
Students also take classes in art and music while students at Lutheran High School. Through these courses students may participate in Art Fairs or Music Festivals through IHSA and other organizations throughout the state of Illinois.
